No going back

(Abi's new bed, complete with Rosie our cat in the centre!)

As if to prove that Abi is growing up, we had a bed delivered for her at the weekend! It's a small double so 4ft wide, a bit bigger than a single. It takes a single duvet perfectly though and means that one of us can get into be with her easily when she wakes up too early! We would have her in our bed, but that space is already occupied by her brother!!!

(Josh who has just discovered the wonders of Sonic the Hedghog!)

Josh officially starts school on the 12th September and then goes full time on the 25th. Abi also starts playgroup in the village 3 times a week on the 11th so I've got 3 whole mornings to myself! What will I do?! Abi finished nursery yesterday, as I think it'll be too much for her doing that and playgroup!

Josh had to go to see his Speech Therapist this week for another course of lessons, she said he has improved again, but there may be a problem with his sequencing skills. We had a double whammy and saw the pediatrician too for a review, she said he's fine and she doesn't need to see him again! That's excellent news!

That's such a good idea. Of course, less likely she'll fall on the floor with the extra bed room, but space for mummy to squeeze in next to her, that's the bit I like! Great news about Josh with the paed and speech improvement, I'm sure the sequencing (of words in sentences presumably?) will follow.

Great news about Josh's speech improvement, you must be soo happy!
Lovely bed there for Abi, and blimey it is huge!!!I just measured our bed and we sleep in the exact same size!!!!!And Jason is 6'4"!!Must buy bigger bed.

Well done Josh!

And good idea to buy a big bed if you have room, Nia's 1st was a double and it worked really well. As for what to do with yourself, you could do what I did....either a)start going to the gym or b)make a baby hahaha :)
Actually I think I would recommend the gym!

Well done Josh! And good luck at your new school, you'll be absolutely fine!

As for Abi's bed, well I would love one of those just for me, all that room to spread about in! You lucky girl!!

cor what a lovely bed! molls is still ok in the cot but she is going in with jess soon (bottom bunk) and nath will have her room, and thats it for bedroom space! hmmm no idea where #4 is going yet!!
sounds like josh is going to be fine with his speech, i'm sure school will be a big help too in terms of sequencing, jess starts tomorrow eeeeeeeeek, its sooo scary isnt it, cant believe they are now properly in the system, good luck to both our sprogs :0) lol @ clares suggestion to make another baby, would you???? i am going to have to wait years til i get time on my own lol, i am soooo jealous of you!

LOVE the bed!!! I really must get organised and sort one for Lydia. She sleeps well in her cot but I don't want to get complacent just because she's still petite enough to be comfy in it!!
