Funday Sunday

Another day, another trip out! We try and do as much as we can during the summer, as it becomes more difficult to do anything other than soft play areas during the winter! Following on from the Monkey Forest yesterday, we went to Amerton Farm, just outside Stafford. There is loads to do there, a free farmyard, a playbarn, a train, shops and, for the summer, some fairground rides for the little ones, and a giant sandpit. Best of all though they had donkey rides! Josh has been on a couple of times before, but it was a first for Abi who was very impressed!

One of my favourite female presenters has given birth. Kirstie Allsopp who presents Location Location Location gave birth to a 'little' boy weighing in at 11lbs 11oz! And I thought Josh was on the large size at 9lbs 10oz. You can read about Kirstie here - but go girl!

Bet they loved the donkey rides. We are hoping to go down to the coast for a few days later on in the year so hopefully my two will get to experience that too.
What's next on your list of activities?

You know how to tire out a couple of monkey's, the kids will have loads of stories to tell there mates when they're older.

They're wonderful piccies! You can just tell how much Abi is gonna look up to her big bro, taking her out for trike rides...aww, happy days!

Wow--great pictures! It looks like a lot of fun. Your kids are so brave on those horses. My daughter wants to like horses.....that is until she gets too close to one :)

11lb 11oz!!! And my mom has never forgiven me for being 10lb 2oz.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Blimey Sue, you do laods with your kids! How lucky are they? Gorgeous photos as always.....J and A seem to get on so well. A really lovely family you have there.
Ouch to that baby size! Hoping this one will not be anything like that! Finn was only 6lb and I had a dozen stitches!!!
