80th Birthday

It was my Dad's 80th birthday on the 15th March, so we took him out to lunch and fussed over him a bit - if you can't fuss your Dad when he's 80 when can you? We had balloons, lots of them, presents and a cake and I think he enjoyed it -here's a photo of him with Abi (Josh was being a bit miserable and refused to have his photo taken!). I don't think he looks anywhere near 80!
On Thursday we had to go to the school for Josh's parents evening. He was so proud showing us around the nursery classroom. I WASN'T so proud when I read 'My Mommy' - he had told his teacher 'My Mommy - brought me a sword.' The only time I have ever got him anything like that and he goes and tells the whole class!!! They did say that his speach has improved loads and that his maths skills appear to be above average, so I had my proud mummy moment!

hi Sue, just caught up with your blog! Welcome to the world of bloggin' addictive isn't it?!
Your dad could easily pass for 60! He doesn't look 80 at all.
Love the pics of your children, they are both so cute.
Take care Bec, x

Wow your dad looks amazing!
Typical about the sword comment - my sister cuts boiled potatoes into rectangles and calls them chips to fool my nephew so I bet his friends think he has chips LOADS!!!! lol!!!
