Jersey
We had a lovely break in Jersey. The hotel was fine, a bit too 'family' orientated for us, if that makes sense. We have never stopped in that sort of hotel, it had just been renovated so the accommodation was great, but it was a bit noisy in the rooms (as the kids in the room above insisted in jumping off the beds at 10.30pm at night - until I called reception to complain!). Saying that, Josh and Abi were too exhausted to notice! It wasn't Clubbing in Ibiza type noisy though!
Here are some photo's of our rooms, firstly our bedroom:
Then Josh's bed in his room (we had a family suite in an attempt to get the children off to sleep before us):
Abi should have been in a cot, although she ended up in bed with either her Dad or me, and the other one of us ended up on either the top or bottom bunk of the bunk bed, depending on where Josh wanted to sleep! Luckily, there are no photographic evidence of either J or I getting in and out of the top bunk, you have been spared that dear reader!
The weather was great, in fact, maybe the sun was a bit too strong, but our favourite beach Greve De Lecq has a lovely breeze so we weren't too hot! On Sunday it was J's birthday, so we had a few drinks in the evening. He has had two new golf clubs for his birthday (that's about all I know on the subject!) so they obviously didn't come to Jersey with us, he had them when we got back home!
Abi was fantastic on the flights, which is always a relief! We limit our flying to 2 hours max, although J does have enough airmiles for us all to go to the US, we're not ready for a long trip like that yet! On the way back, the plane went via Guernsey (they are only propeller planes from Birmingham to the Channel Islands). We may go there next year, as it looked just as pretty as Jersey.

I remember watching Bergerac as a kid and always wanted to visit Jersey! Now I want to even more! Looks fab Sue. So glad you had a good time and v v v v sensible to limit flying times too!!! Means you arrive not stressed! Would ahve loved to have seen photographic evidence of you two trying to get to the top bunk!
Roll on your cruise now! (Think I may have to come with you!!!!!)
Glad you are back!
